Bracelet extender chain/toggle/lobster pair

I am switching to a chain extender w/ a lobster clasp for the bracelets. Any recommendation on chain/clasp pairs. I want the bracelets to be simple to put on. Any thoughts on a possible chain/toggle pair? I also cannot seem to find a "drop" or weight for the end of the chain, although I am not convinced this is necessary. One last question - I am making a wrapped metal loop at the end to attach the chain and clasp. I need this wire to be strong and stable as the use of the bracelet required the bracelet to be tugged on to move the beads. What do you recommend regarding gauge and type of wire?
