'<img'> I have just joined this forum, having read the posts on Art Clay Silver.   I learned quite a lot more than was in the instructions.   My first little button of Art Clay 650 slow dry has been drying overnight, and I am now waiting to make sure it is dry enough to fire.    I am going to use a Butane torch, although I do have propane and oxygen torch as well, however I think I read on one of the posts that the Butane has a larger flame.   Thanks for all the information.

A torch by any other name is ........... a torch, or a source of heat.
Your propane - oxygen torch should work okay, the only hazard being that with the oxygen pressure it may be a little bit hot and therefore it may be harder to balance  [or control] the temperature when you are firing the Art Clay.  The butane torches have a flme the size of the last two joints of your little finger. It is somewhat lower temperature then the oxygen driven flames.
