I am attempting Mary Morton's Jasper Necklace (seen in the Fall Supplement & Gallery) and having difficulties in keeping the end strings to the left & right of the top triangle.   Does anyone have a suggestion on how to accomplish?  It seems to pull together and then slide all over the place.

I appreciate any help.
Thank you.

I started by wrapping the strings around the two sides, just off of the center top point.  I think the key may be making sure you put the strings inside the center hole, from back to front- then bring them over each side of the triangle and begin knotting.  i know it's a little funny to start- but once you have a few knots made, the string will hold in the same place (as long as you don't force the pendant to move).  Also- if you'd like, you can file the area on the pendant that sits just under the square knotting, add a dab of super glue or tenax bead glue, and secure it in place.

Hope that helps!  Let me know if you need anything else!
