Hi Marina,

We have some basic techniques outlined in the Projects section of our Web site.

Check out the head & eye pin looping technique section at the top.  It's very basic, yet important.  You may also want to check through the Wire Projects and Looped/Linked Eye Pin projects toward the bottom of the projects page.

In our catalog, we have brief descriptions of the uses of each type of pliers and other tools.  (Things like "Nylon jaws help prevent scaped and dented wire.")
If those short summaries sound helpful, you may want to check out the online version of our printed catalog pages, starting with page 212 and continuing through page 216.

Also you may want to visit http://www.jewelrymaking.about.com
They have a variety of projects, information and links relating to all kinds of jewelry-making.

Hey!

For my School Major Project, I need to research "Hand Technques" use in jewellery making. eg, with pliers.

Anyone got any help with specifying the actual techniques and how they are done??

Hope to hear from you soon
Marina
