Hi everyone. I am working on some copper tooled earrings and was wondering what you all used for the ear wire. I was looking for a niobium wire in a copper color but haven't been able to find it at all. I looked at some web pages and most are using sterling wires and one was spraying copper wire with a clear spray. I'm not sure about the spraying one because of the people with metal allergies. Can anyone give me some ideas here?

We have an ear wire  described as follows:
'French hook ear wires. Antiqued copper colored niobium with bright copper ball. 20 gauge, nickel free.'

R&T#34-003-8

These look like oxidized copper [dark with highlights] on the wires and the copper ball is very coppery.
Hope this works for you
