I have been using the smart beads and really like them. My problem is the hole is usually too tight for the ear threads.  Ladies tend to struggle and then break the post on the ear threads.  I started out trying to heat the opening with a safety pin, but that is very time consuming.  I now drill out the hole with the smallest bit I could find.  Wonder if there is a faster way to do this?

I'm pretty sure that reaming with a reamer (or drill bits) is the fastest way- it seems like the hole in the smart bead will vary a little bit- so some will need more reaming than others.
