Are you tired of the same bloated jewelry contests with their pages of rules, categories and stipulations? So are we! That's why we're introducing simpler, more streamlined jewelry-making contests to Rings & Things.

Rock 'N' Rollo Challenge Rules
- Entries must include one (or both) of the following semi-precious gemstones, in any shape & size bead we carry:
 rainbow amazonite beads and/or  larvikite beads
- Entries must also include one (or more) types of bulk rollo chain, in any style & plating we carry:
    bulk rollo chain
- Use any other components you want to turn your concept into reality (handmade, store-bought, new, vintage, found objects, etc).
- Entries don't have to be jewelry — they can be anything!
- Limit: 3 entries per person or design team.

Prizes
- First Place: $250 Rings & Things gift certificate
- Second Place: $100 Rings & Things gift certificate
- Third Place: $75 Rings & Things gift certificate
- People's Choice Award: $75 Rings & Things gift certificate
Winners may also get free advertising if their piece gets featured in our catalog and/or promotions.
That's exposure to over a million people worldwide, which you can use for your own "as-seen-in" promotions!
Think Outside the Strand!
- The chain can function as a foundation or an embellishment.
- The gemstone beads can be strung, wire-wrapped, glued, embedded and more — any way you can think to use them.
- Surprise us with new combinations and innovative uses for these components!
- Judging will be based on ingenuity, craftsmanship and aesthetics.
How To Enter
- Use a separate entry form for each entry (limit 3 entries per person/team) — no entry fee!
- Enter jewelry sets as a single entry.
- Make sure your images meet the image requirements.
- Entry deadline is midnight (PT) Tuesday, January 31, 2012 (no extensions!)
After You Enter
The Fine Print
- Entry must be an original work for which you have the legal right to submit to us.
- Entry may not be currently entered in another competition, or have won any contest in the past.
- Incomplete entries, entries that do not follow contest rules, and entries that do not follow image requirements will be disqualified.
- By entering, you give Rings & Things permission to use images of your piece in print and online publications.
- Rings & Things employees are not eligible to enter.
