Clever! I’m always creating little DIY things to make my beading more portable or comfortable. Once I even blogged about a little lap tray I made from a shoebox cover and a bead mat that made it easier to do stringing at my computer desk. I’ve since used up just about every shoe box cover I have.
Great idea! I love spontaneous innovation.

Sometimes I think jewelry making makes you an extra-good problem solver. My wife, who beads nicely, seems also to be able to fix anything mechanical and rearrange any messy room into a pleasing environment!
