Sterling silver charms from Rings & Things.
How is a charm different than a pendant? Pendants are usually (but not always) larger than charms. And, the loop at the top of a charm is usually parallel to the charm itself: you use a jump ring or split ring to connect the charm to chain (or other loops such as the loop at the bottom of an earring). Whereas the loop on a pendant can usually be strung directly onto a necklace chain or cording. In other words, a pendant loop is often perpendicular (rotated 90 degrees) compared to a charm loop, and may be much larger.
