These trapeze style, simple chain earrings look great on! They are perfect for dancing, a night on the town, or any occasion where you want to be the center of attention. The chain tassel and brilliantly sparkling Swarovski crystal arrow are in constant motion, swinging delicately from their sterling silver trapeze.

Add a silver night arrow bead to a 2" eye pin and make a wire-wrapped loop or simple loop at the bottom. For looping instructions and best way to open and close loops, see Jump Ring Hint: Jewelry Basics 101 (PDF)
Cut 1 piece of chain, 29 links long. Run a silver jump ring through the middle link, and attach to the ear wire. Use small black gunmetal jump rings to attach the chain ends to the sterling link.
Use a large black jump ring to attach the arrow dangle to the sterling link.
Cut three approximately 3" pieces of chain, and run a silver jump ring through the middle link of each. (Use 10" of chain for each earring, more if you want extremely long, very flowing tassels!) Attach to bottom loop of wire wrapped arrow dangle.
The niobium earwires are safe for most people with metal allergies, so make several pairs for your friends!
An alternate design option: Lengthen or thicken the tassel. You could also add additional beads, or dangles to the trapeze. This design uses sterling, silver plate and black gunmetal, but other mixed metals would be equally dazzling.
These modern earrings have an art-deco vibe from the mixed metals of silver and gunmetal. These earrings are very light in your ear, easy on your pocketbook, and a
snap to make.
