No matter what you call rhodochrosite beads, they're still just as lovely and sweet! Sometimes spelled rhodocrosite and also known as inca rose, manganese spar, raspberry spar, and rosinca, this uniquely marbled gemstone displays various shades of pink ranging from very light to deep raspberry. A manganese ore, rhodochrosite appears in banded patterns with various white minerals, including calcite. Be aware that these semiprecious beads are relatively soft and brittle. This means they can lose their polish more quickly than harder gemstones (like also pink
rhodonite beads). Only clean rhodochrosite in cool, soapy water. Mystics say rhodochrosite is helpful in moments of extreme physical stress; they also say it arouses passion.
