Fuchsia Daydream Tassel Earring Tutorial
Created by: Melissa Rhoades
These crystal earrings were inspired by beautiful fuchsia flowers that bloom on countless front porches during warm weather. Wear these tassel earrings year round to daydream of summer.
Use non-serrated pliers to avoid marring your wire. Optional: add Tool Magic™ or masking tape to the tips of your pliers to further prevent the wire from getting nicked while you work.
Add beads to one eye pin in the order pictured: light pink bicone (from mix), dark pink bicone (from mix), 8mm fuchsia dome, 15mm amethyst dome, green bicone (from mix). Create a simple loop above the beads. Repeat with the other eye pin.
Option: if you would prefer to make wrapped loops for a more secure connection, you can either make your own 3" eye pins from silver-plated wire or substitute 3" white-plated head pins for the 2" silver-plated head pins listed.
Make 6 (or more) tiny charms using ball-end head pins and 4mm bicone beads from the Crystal Jams bead mix.
Option: cut 2 chains on each tassel a shorter length, to make "stepped" lengths for hanging the crystal charms.
Using 3mm jump rings, attach the charms to the ends of the tassel chains.
Attach your finished tassels to the end of the eye pin that has the 2 pink bicones.
Attach ear wires to the other end of each eye pin.
