- 24-gauge solid copper is perfect for metal stamping, embossing, soldering, riveting, engraving and enameling. It can also be chemical etched (just take it out of the etchant earlier than thicker gauges).
- 22-gauge solid copper works great for chemical etching, metal stamping, soldering, riveting, engraving and enameling. These blanks are too thick for embossing machines.
- 18-gauge solid copper is ideal for chemical etching and enameling. It also works for riveting, soldering, engraving, and metal stamping.
- 14-gauge solid copper is the perfect weight for a bracelet, and ideal for chemical etching. It's a little tougher to stamp, so use small stamps or anneal the metal to soften it before stamping.
