Coffee Break Necklace Tutorial

Punch a hole in bottom of the copper blank.
Clean the blank with Penny Brite®.
Apply clear embossing ink to the rubber stamps and stamp images onto the blank.
Apply clear embossing powder to the blank and shake off the excess powder. It can be re-used.
Hold the heat gun 3-4" away from powdered surface. Heat until the embossing powder begins to melt. Look closely to see that the embossing powder turns shiny. This is somewhat hard to see, since the embossing powder is clear.
Once cool, apply patina with a cotton swab. The Novacan black patina provides a sharp contrast to the shiny copper of the embossed image.
Seal the embossed blank with Rennasisance® wax or other sealer.
Use jump rings to add coffee bean charms and other beads.
Add a buckle style adjuster to the silk ribbon to create a variable length necklace.
