Cut 4-6 feet of beading thread and add a needle to each end. Center a two-hole tile bead on the cord.
Add 1 size 11, 1 teardrop, and 1 size 11 to each thread. Then thread both cords through 1 two-hole tile. Continue this pattern, until you’ve added approximately 20 tile beads.
Thread the cords through the first two-hole to create a circle (bangle). Hold the threads taut to make sure the bangle will slip over the largest part of your hand. Adjust the number of beads if necessary.
Thread the cords back through the opposite holes of the 2-hole bead you just came out of. Now continue to thread the cords through all the beads to reinforce your work. Reinforcing from the opposite direction, keeps the piece from sliding open.
When you have gone back through all the beads, bring both cords out of a two-hole tile.
Add one size 11 bead to each cord. Thread both cords through a two-hole bead. Add one size 11 bead to each cord. Thread both cords through the two-hole bead in the bangle (bottom).
Continue this pattern until you have added 20 tiles. The second layer of two-hole tiles will cover the size 11 and teardrops on the bottom layer.
Reinforce this layer by threading the cords back through all the beads a second time. Continue to thread cords through the beads in the lower level for about an inch. After bring the cords out of two-hole tile, tie the cords together with a surgeon’s knot and clip excess cord.
